Each Holder is one of a kind, made by nature never to be duplicated.
This 6 hole essential oil holder was made from a piece of old aromatic cedar branch I found in the woods surrounding our home in Georgia. I have left the outside shape as I found the log laying on the forest floor with the exception of cutting off some branches and slicing the branch in half. The ends, or length of the piece, have been saw cut to a length of approximately 12". I then cleaned up the outside of the branch and sanded the surfaces to the finish you see in the photographs. A mineral oil finish has been applied on all the surfaces. As the holder ages it may be necessary to add a coat of mineral oil to refresh the look. Mineral oil is available in most stores.
You are buying the holder shown in this set of pictures with all the imperfections that come standard with old dry cedar. Cracks, flaws and rough natural surfaces can be seen in the photographs. As these old pieces of cedar age they often develop even more cracks. So with all of this in mind..........don't buy it if you want perfection. Buy it because nature made it for you to enjoy as it ages. The holder will change color with time.
This Essential oil holder is designed to hold 5 bottles. The diameter of the holes are 1 3/16 ". The bottle holes are approximately 1/2"" deep.

I can't guarantee natures work. I can only assure you that when I am working with the wood all the skill and ability I have will go into what nature has provided me. My craftsmanship is in every piece I make.

Why such a hard line policy?
The wood I am using to make each item (this does not apply to Bread slicing guides since they are made of new material) has been laying on the forest floor for many years. It has been subjected to insects, rain, wood decay and green moss. Then baked in the Georgia heat and humidity.
So.......the finished item can and may have cracks, bug holes, wood decay, nicks, marks, green moss and be discolored due to its exposure to nature over the years.
That is why....each wood item I make is so unique and one of a kind. They are different!! That is why you are buying it!!
I cant guarantee natures work. I can only assure you that when I am working on the wood all the skill and ability I have will go into what nature has provided me. My craftsmanship is in every piece I turn.
What happens after the piece is done in the mystery wood shop will be a mystery to all.
