Each Holder is one of a kind, made by nature never to be duplicated.
Nature at its best! Enjoy the look and smell of this solid piece of old aromatic cedar as it holds your essential oil bottles.
This holder was made from a piece of old cedar log I found in the woods surrounding our home in Georgia. I have left the outside surface and shape as I found the log laying on the forest floor. The top and bottom have been saw cut and sanded flat. The aroma of cedar is present due to the fact I have not applied any type of wood finish to the surfaces. In the future if you desire to apply a finish of your choice it can be done. The last picture shows a different holder with an oil finish applied for comparison. The oil finish darkens the wood.
You are buying the holder shown in this set of pictures with the imperfections that come standard with old dry cedar. Cracks, flaws and rough natural surfaces can be seen in the photographs. As these old pieces of cedar age they often develop more cracks. So with all of this in mind..........don't buy it if you want perfection. Buy it because nature made it for you to enjoy as it ages. The holder will change color with time.
This Essential oil holder is designed to hold 14 bottles. The diameter of the holes are 1 3/16 ". The bottle holes are approximately 1/2" deep.

Why such a hard line policy?
The wood I am using to make each item (this does not apply to Bread slicing guides since they are made of new material) has been laying on the forest floor for many years. It has been subjected to insects, rain, wood decay and green moss. Then baked in the Georgia heat and humidity.
So.......the finished item can and may have cracks, bug holes, wood decay, nicks, marks, green moss and be discolored due to its exposure to nature over the years.
That is why....each wood item I make is so unique and one of a kind. They are different!! That is why you are buying it!!
I cant guarantee natures work. I can only assure you that when I am working on the wood all the skill and ability I have will go into what nature has provided me. My craftsmanship is in every piece I make by hand in my wood working shop located in Lincolnton, Georgia.
What happens after the piece is done in the mystery wood shop will be a mystery to all.
PLEASE READ THE DESCRIPTION OF THE ITEM YOU ARE LOOKING AT CAREFULLY AND STUDY THE PICTURES CAREFULLY BEFORE YOU MAKE YOUR PURCHASE. Remember what you see in the picture is what you get, minus color variation due to monitors and lighting conditions.
No exchanges, returns or refunds will be made with the excepton of Bread Slicing Guides.
