This guide is one of a kind prototype I made on the path to developing the new "Box" bread slicing guide. I'm offering them at a reduced price. Each one very a little in design from the finial product and will function perfectly. Any one of the four will serve you for years to come.

Slice your loaves of bread easily and quickly horizontally by using the Adjustable "Box" Bread Slicing Guide. The "Box" can be adjusted in seconds to slice your loaf into many slice thicknesses. The "Box" can fit loaves up to 7 1/4- inches wide.

I hand craft each bread guide in my wood shop located in Lincolnton GA. The "Box" slicing guide is made out of solid 3/4-inch Oak lumber. The adjustable table the bread rests on is 1/2-inch-thick food safe BPA free high-density polypropylene and dishwasher safe.

Take note of the "Box Joints" on all four corners of the "Box" slicing guide. They are there for two reasons .... strength and beauty!! This "Box" guide will last for generations. I use a "food safe" mineral oil finish to add beauty to the oak. It will dry out with time. To refresh the wood simply wipe on another coat of mineral oil and the "Box" will look like new.

Do not place the wooden Oak part of your guide into water or a dish washer. Simply wipe off with a damp cloth if needed. The plastic table is dishwasher safe.

Adjustment for slice thickness is done by moving four pins into the correct holes. I include 4 extra pins in the shipment along with a free anti slip mate to keep the guide from moving around on your counter as you slice. The mate material and pins are available at most hardware stores if ever needed.

A bread knife with a blade length of 12-inches is a minimum length for slicing.

Make sure your bread has cooled down before slicing. I let mine rest overnight before slicing. Your slicing success will depend on it.

Can you cut yourself on this guide? Absolutely! Use caution while slicing. Do not allow children to use the guide. Knives are sharp and will cut bread and you along with it. If you think you may injure yourself don't use the guide. Return it for a full refund. I want you totally safe and satisfied.
