You decide if you want to slice vertically or horizontally with this guide.

Slicing vertically any thickness you desire is easily done.

Slicing horizontal, 3/8, 1/2, 3/4, 1, 1 1/4, 1 3/8-inch slices are easily done.

Plus your loaf can be up to 7-inches wide slicing either way.

Slicing vertically: Rest the loaf on the bread board, adjust the loaf to the thickness you desire and slice. Unlimited to the thicknesses you can slice.

Slicing horizontally: Rest the loaf on its end in the guide and insert the bread knife into the various slots, any of the above thicknesses can be sliced quickly and easily with this guide.

The base for the vertical slicing options makes a beautiful cheese serving tray.

The slicing guide ships with a food safe silicon mat that is placed under the slicing guide to stop it from sliding on your countertop while slicing. This mat may be used in other areas of the kitchen such as baking or anywhere you want an anti slip mat.

The "Wow One Guide" is made out of solid 3/4-inch Oak lumber for the sides and 1/4-inch Oak lauan for the bread tray. Hand crafted by myself in Lincolnton GA.

Take note of the "Box Joints" on the two corners of the slicing guide. They are there for two reasons .... strength and beauty!! This "Wow One Guide" guide will last for generations. I use a food safe mineral oil finish to add beauty to the oak. It will dry out with time. To refresh the wood simply wipe on another coat of mineral oil or cutting board oil.

A bread knife with a blade length of at least 12-inches is recommended for slicing. A shorter knife will not work. Knife not include.

Do not place your guide into water or a dish washer. Simply wipe off with a dry or damp cloth if needed.
