I offer a removable back stop and mounting hardware that can be used while slicing horizontally as shown in the photographs. I personally don't use one while slicing horizontally. However I do receive request from time to time for such a back stop. If you have a weak hand grip, this backstop will assist you while slicing. Price does not include a "Slicing Guide". What you are purchasing is the "Back Stop" that attaches to any new production "Horizontal Slicing Guide. If you have the means to drill a 5/16-inch hole in your currently owned guide, then you could make this work on your current guide.
It is made out of solid Oak. It will come with a winged bolt that screws into the oak back stop. No tools required.
