I’ve included a removable back stop and mounting hardware that you can use while slicing horizontally, as shown in the photos. I personally don’t use one while slicing horizontally, but I do get requests for it from time to time. If you have a weak hand grip, this backstop will help you while slicing. Just a heads-up, the price doesn’t include a “Slicing Guide.” What you’re getting is the “Back Stop” that attaches to any new production “Horizontal Slicing Guide.” If you have the tools to drill a 5/16-inch hole in your current guide, you could use this on yours too.
It’s made of solid Oak and comes with a winged bolt that screws into the oak back stop. No tools are needed!
