Nature’s beauty is again displayed in a new “Mystery Lathe” original. Every unique block of cedar is mounted on the wood lathe and turned...but now the hidden treasure of this marvel- of-nature in its original form is not only mine to experience. I want to share this beauty I see every time I place a block of cedar on my lathe; so, these “Mystery” pieces have part of the original block of cedar in its natural, one-of-a-kind state. These little treasures do not have a finish on them so as not to alter the aromatic scent of the cedar. They can be used to hold jewelry, potpourri, trinkets, or just as decorative conversation pieces. No two of these wonders of natural beauty are the same since every block of cedar I find and turn are a “Mystery” to me and for me to share. Each one is $10, completely unique, and perfect in the way nature is meant to be.

You are purchasing the holder that is featured in the accompanying photographs. The defects that are shown in the photos existed in the block of old cedar as I turned it on the Wood lathe. Cracks, holes and knots are what nature has given us along with the natural beauty of the old aromatic cedar to enjoy for a lifetime.
