In my life time of working with wood, I have never come upon such a unique and beautiful piece of wood. Nature made just one of these old cedar trees and it will never be duplicated. I was able to cut 10 slices of cedar from the old log that gave me this holder your looking at. I hope to make 9 more holders from them. This truly is a very rare piece of wood.

I always sign and date the things I build. This one I did not. The reason being it is such a beautiful piece of wood someone may want to hang it on a wall, with the holes on the back side, for decoration. It is that beautiful.

This aromatic cedar essential oil holder or wall art, is ready to use in its natural state. I did not apply a finish as I wanted to leave it in its natural state. You could apply any finish you desire at a later time. Enjoy the look and smell of this old aromatic cedar as it holds your essential oil bottles or hangs on your wall.

This holder was made from a piece of old cedar log I found in the woods surrounding our home in Georgia. I have left the outside surface and shape as I found the log laying on the forest floor with the exception of cleaning up the surfaces. The thickness of the piece, have been saw cut and sanded smooth.

You are buying the holder shown in this set of pictures with all the imperfections that come standard with old dry cedar. Cracks, flaws and rough natural surfaces can be seen in the photographs. As these old pieces of cedar age they may develop more cracks. So with all of this in mind..........don't buy it if you want perfection. Buy it because nature made it for you to enjoy as it ages. The holder may change color with time.

This Essential oil holder is designed to hold 13 bottles. The diameter of the holes are 1 3/16". The bottle holes are approximately 1/2"" deep. Frequently I receive the question: "Will my (particular brand of oil) bottles fit in this holder?" My response is measure the diameter of your bottles to see if they will fit. My standard hole diameter is 1 3/16". If you need a different size hole follow the directions below for a custom order. It does not cost you any extra for me to meet your needs.
